Here’s what’s happening
Experts have predicted that Cragen will appear in the evening as part of Conwy Feast on 27 October around 7pm. She will be seen from the festival site along the Quayside.
7pm Cragen crosses the river and presents herself in front of the food festival and Conwy Castle
Conwy Feast celebrates 15 years this year with a feast of food and fun: from an amazing edible map and a real farmyard, to Cragen Sea Monster emerging from the deep. Of course, the star of the Feast is the food, and you can watch as chefs show off their skills, discover a wonderful array of street food – and test, taste and take home an astonishing range of produce, most of which comes from Wales; all served with lashings of music, crafts and visual arts.
Tickets can be booked on the festival website and include options for adults, children and a family ticket.
The festival is running Sea Creatures Family Craft Workshop to celebrate celebrate Year of the Sea! Young visitors can get crafty and create sea creatures from plastic bottles and waste, then take their fishy friends to join the parade led by local drumming band Bloco Sŵn. The Parade will meander through the streets to meet Cragen on the Quayside at 7pm.
